Kenny the science guy won first place in the Rock Hound event (coached by his daddy) and third place in the Write it Do it event (coached by his mommy) today at the Nevada State Science Olympiad championship! And Challenger School took first place overall!
What an exciting and fun day. These kids never cease to impress me with their hard work.
Daddy left the awards ceremony to meet Janelle who is an engineering friend with the Water District. Daddy is her guest for a once in a lifetime experience to visit the new 3rd straw low level pumping tunnel to draw water from Lake Mead. It was a very tough decision. At least Daddy would be able to view the video of the awards, but not a video of the pumping station area.
