His competition was 8 and under, and he just turned 8 in June. Just up against some amazing athletes! Since his qualifying times were just under the cut, he came in with the goal of bettering his times, rather than placing. And the goal of having fun!
Unfortunately, he won't be swimming relays. Team is one kid short to fill a team in his age group. Mommy offered Daddy up as the fourth swimmer, but coach doesn't think he can pass for 10 or under. :(
