The 'shelter in place' drill is very interesting for this day and age. It is very unfortunate that there have been several school shootings around the country so schools must have a disaster plan for when someone breaks into the school. The teacher locks the door and then the kids and teacher be very quiet while they huddle in a corner that is not visible from the door's window as the gunman roams the hallways looking for victims. Previous generations didn't have to worry about that problem. An unfortunate concern these days for this generation.
