Kristi and I had dinner at an outdoor restaurant on The Strip at the Venetian last night. I took a couple videos in the casino for you to view as reference. Based on my experience the past couple weeks on tour and my observations last night, I get the impression COVID fatigue is setting in particularly in relation to the mask mandate. I observed security guards offering masks to guests. Some accepted while others ignored the guards. I could tell the security guards were frustrated. One guard offered a mask to an unmasked patron who responded, "No thanks. I already have one." Although, the dipshit didn't bother to put his on and continued onto the casino floor. Kristi and I waited for an elevator watching patrons enter without wearing a mask. We entered one with a few others wearing one while one did not. I called him out for which he summarily pulled his mask from his chin to cover his mouth and nose. I then thanked him for doing so. It was an interesting experience on The Strip!
The Mirage has been around since 1989. The recordings have changed over the time. Movie cameras, 35mm, digital cameras, and this day and age smart phones. I wonder what will be the recording device next decade!?!?!
