This friggin kid!! He swam the 400 meter freestyle for the first time ever, and he secured a Junior Olympic qualifying time! And it's an 11-12 qualifying time (he's aging up in June and the JOs are in July).
His time was 5:47.25 (adjusted for altitude since Fresno,CA is lower than Las Vegas). He smoked it!
....and he earned 1st place out of 7 kids!!!!
