Kenny is finaly old enough to go on tour without a carseat and old enough to not require constant attention by Daddy during the tour so he finaly gets to see what Daddy does each day. Normally there is a $50 fee to visit the Hualapai reservation at Grand Canyon West Rim. Pink Jeep will comp the seat on the truck, but not the fee. I contacted the Hualapai reservations supervisor who indicated it was okay to print out a $5 tour guide ticket for my son. I had three people from South Africa, two from North Carolina (who stiffed me), and a mother and daughter from the midwest who were in town for a cheerleader contest. Those two were the only ones who interacted with Kenny and I. They were very interested in climbing the rocks at Guano Point. Kenny was very happy to show them how to scramble. They enjoyed him and even took several pictures with him.
The tour was over an hour longer than I wanted because everyone else enjoyed the Skywalk so we had to wait around which made Kenny very impatient. I also wanted to make sure he experienced Guano Point since that is the place to climb rocks. We didn't spend as much time there as I'd liked since things were running so late. Overall he was a good little boy. He was very good in the vehicle keeping himself occupied or talking with the other guests. I had to wake Kenny up at 5 am to go to work. He said he didn't sleep on the drive home, but he did. I told him I was surprised you didn't wake up when we stopped to use the bathroom. His response was 'We stopped!'. He was out and slept well. We got back home around 6 pm. Long day!
